By rating a school on a scale of 1-5 for the categories of academics, campus facilities, sports programs, student life, surrounding area, and the value of the experience, students control the overall average rating that we calculate for each school.

How accurate is the data listed on the individual school pages?

Some of the data that is posted on our school pages originates from the U.S. Department of Education's National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), which is updated annually. However, schools that have a designated Verified Advisor have access to update the data via an approved administrator by the college. While there may be minor discrepancies, the data is fairly accurate.

We extend an invitation to all colleges listed in our database to register a Verified Advisor in order to quickly update their school profiles with the most up-to-date information. For more information on how your school can have access to their data on StudentAdvisor and details on becoming a Verified Advisor please contact advisors[at]studentadvisor.com.
