I would change that it is so boring. Everyone is always studying and there are no cute boys!! And the food sucks too.

I wish my school SBU had better food. There are too many unhealthy things. Healthier options would be nicer.

Tuition. The price steadily raises. The cost of higher education is becoming quite expensive. I don't want to have to become hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt to receive a quality college education. No one should have to.

I would love to see a few more programs come available. Sometimes its tough for people to make decisions about a career choice because what they are really passionate about isn't offered close by. My sister, for one, is waiting for her program of study to be included in our local college's curriculum.

The one thing I would change about my school is it's location, it is located far away from the city which we are near. I would prefer to be inside of the city. I don't really like having to drive everywhere so walking is a benefit.

I attend a state university, and if there was one thing I could change about it, I would change the general education requirements. I do believe that some general education courses should be taken; however, many universities, including mine, seem to overdo it. I feel like I am taking an obscene amount of classes that will not benefit me in the future.

One of the schools I attended was very bureaucratic. I wish I could change that because so much confusion and stress was placed on students. They were told one thing and had to go to one office only to be told another and have to go back and forth. Also, the website was never helpful at finding any kind of information about school events, clubs, and scholarships. The school did not make students aware what was happening on campus around them, did not update their calendars, and none of the workers on campus knew what was going on with others.

Schools are all different, but i think most students would want newer facilities, ours were pretty outdated. I would have changed the summer courses to only being done in airconditioned lectures, it was very hard studying homers odyssey at 8am in the heat. I would also have loved to cut down on class sizes, i believe you learn more that way.

The number one thing I would change about my school (UAH) is the fact that the school has such a narrow focus. Only the engineering students are getting their moneys worth. All other subjects seem only to be there to fool students into thinking the school has a lot of offer and give the engineering students something to do for general education requirements. There is little emphasis on social life, so the students mostly eat, sleep, study and work.

If I could change one thing about my school, I would find a way to streamline the paperwork necessary to register for class and housing, and take care of the many financial aspects that come up during the semester. The school I attend (like most schools) has a somewhat complex working of rules and regulations that must be followed and completed BEFORE THE DUE DATE to insure that I am in the classes I need and that everything is paid for. If you are like me and have problems following all of these rules, you need to either: A) find an upperclassmen who can walk you through the steps, B) bug your appointed adviser with any questions you might have, or c) latch onto a secretary in one of the professors' offices who can fix all the mistakes you make. The paperwork that goes along with school can be very confusing, but there are always lots of people around that would love to help. ask around.

The education program at Rowan University changes every two years. If I could change something, I'd stop them from doing this! These changes create confusion amongst prefessors, and it undermines the theories that they are trying to teach. (If what I'm learning is the best way, why does it keep changing?) Long-lasting standards will give more credibility to the program and to the school. Until then, Rowan University continues to drop the ball.

I would change that underclassmen can't have cars. It is very hard to get around off campus without one. The bus system is not very good, i got lost on it.

The one thing I would change about my school is that the classes are so large! It's hard to see the professor when there's about 300 students in one lecture hall! And it's pretty much impossible to meet anyone and you usually sit beside someone new everyday.

I would change the fact that the professors all use completely different text books. I am required to maintain a 3.8 to 4.0 GPA and when I get a lower grade I have to re-take it. Normally I take the class over with a different professor, but then a different book is used. I don't see why they would have a different book that teaches the same exact material.

My school likes to hire construction workers to start new projects all around campus at the same time. I wish they would focus on finishing one project before continuing on to the next job. This way, the campus would look even nicer.

I wish my school wasn't as expensive. I feel bad for all the students who have to take out student loans. It must be hard to start out your life in so much debt. I imagine it will be quite stressful and worrisome.

The one thing I would change about my school is the surrounding. It is not a city school and I am a city type of person. A serene and scenic surrounding has its pluses don't get me wrong but sometimes, I wish there would be more life in the neighborhood and nearby cities so I don't get too bored easily.

The price of food. It is so expensive to eat on a college campus. I wish they would understand that we are students and a lot of us can't afford a six dollar burger.

I attend the University of Virginia. The one thing I would love to change at my school is the fraternity/sorority life. Although UVA students are usually very focused on academics, they are also hard partiers. The motto seems to be "work hard, play hard." This attitude - especially encouraged by the Greek scene - leads to a lot of dangerous and risky behavior. I wish the fraternities and sororities would take more of an active role in encouraging students to drink responsibly.

My school is 60% Greek (meaning 60% of people are members of a Fraternity or Sorority). I've never really been a fan of paying for my friends, and I feel like Greek life is killing the social scene at my school by its dominance. There are many people who don't explore or try to make new friends, because they're too occupied with their sisters or brothers. Also, many Greek events are mandatory for members--and if they happen to coincide with something that the university is planning, the university event is subverted by Greek events.

If I could change one thing about the school I attended, it would be the parking situation. First, I would create more parking spaces that would be closer to the actual campus. Next, I would construct a huge parking garage right in the middle of the campus to benefit all students. Finally, the school I attended had a huge circle drive to allow for drop-offs in front of one of the main buildings. I would start a large valet parking operation to better serve students at that location. This service would allow students the option to pay per occurrance, per month, or per semester.

Community bathrooms. It's my one major pet peeve about the whole college experience. I absolutely hate it. It's germy, messy and I wish every college had private bathroomss!

I think I would change some of my professors. Some professors that have been at the school for a long time, are not necessarily the best professors. I have experienced problems with some of these professors. They have a lot of tasks to do and usually do not focus much on the class. They are hard to get ahold of for help and sometimes do not even know what is going on in the class.

I'm now a graduate, so I'll say that the one thing I would have changed about my school when I was there was the administrative beaurracracy with regard to financial aid. A lot of students, including myself, had issues with getting loan monies disbursed in a timely manner because of holdups in the financial aid office. The government would get the money to the school at, say, the end of September, and the money wouldn't actually be disbursed until late October. Sometimes scholarship money wouldn't be applied correctly either. It was a total nightmare.

I wish my school didn't start new building projects as often as they do. They will begin a project on one part of campus and then soon after start another project in another section of campus. They continue this until they have around six projects going at one time.

If they keep flexibility in school timings its better. Because many students including me comes from very far distance, time management is needed, But if they provide some flexibility in school timings , it would be very grateful to us.

My school is very academically rigorous, which I am thankful for, but they are primarily a research university interested in graduate students and the reasearch they perfrom. As such, their priority is not the undergraduate population. They basically do not provide for undergraduates the way they provide for their graduate students and research professors.

I currently attend Lincoln Memorial University. One thing I would change is my schools acceptance rate. This coming year our school will be over populated. I signed up to live in an apartment style dorm for three people that will have to hold six due to over population next year. First, this is not what I paid for. Next, our school should build new facilities if this is going to be a problem. I don't see any plan of action in place, so this is what I would change.

The one thing I would change about my school is cost. My school costs too much. It is for profit and private and I resent that. It is, unfortunately the best in the industry so I continue.

If I could change one thing, it would be to have a more traditional campus for my school. My school is located in the heart of a major city (Birmingham, AL), so there are city streets running all through campus. It would be nice if the campus was closed off to city traffic. I would love for it to have a private campus. It would be nice for it to be less hectic with all the city happenings and traffic!
