University of Maryland-University College Review

Rating: StarStar_grayStar_grayStar_grayStar_gray By: Monet_325, Student Posted: December 12, 2014
The Good:

Majority of the Professors are willing to work with military students and provide flexible schedules for military students.

The Bad:

The administration, they tell you one thing and the next day a different person is telling you the opposite. Even the UMUC rep that was on post was no help. He was never in the office and whenever...

The Bad:

The staff of the college is very poorly organized. Would not recommend receiving a degree from this college. Seek elsewhere. Highly unsatisfied with the results of this college.

University of St Thomas-Saint Paul Review

Rating: StarStarStarStarStar By: MollieMarie2018, Student Posted: December 09, 2014
The Good:

I love the location of St. Thomas, which definitely helped in the decision-making process. But I chose it because it has a great reputation regarding the academics.

The Bad:

It is cold in the winter. But it's Minnesota, so I recommend bringing warm clothes!!

Amherst College Review

Rating: StarStarStarStar_grayStar_gray By: E.T. Wilson, Student Posted: November 26, 2014
The Good:

Student-teacher engagement is superlative. Most professors either ensure small class sizes, or structure the class in a way to create more interaction and get a chance to know their students.

The Bad:

I guess it boils down to cliques. You definitely get some jocks sleeping through class, some goofs going through an ostentatious period of "experimentation," and other groups for better and worse....

University of Massachusetts-Boston Review

Rating: StarStarStarStar_grayStar_gray By: Emma Sturgis, Alum Posted: November 19, 2014
The Good:

Very laid back community--made some great friends who were at the same place in life. Good for anyone who has to commute to school and isn't looking for an intense college culture.

The Bad:

Could use more course offerings.

The Good:

Sim lab is fantastic. Staff when I was there was nice - especially Prof Pennington
