University of Massachusetts-Boston Review

Rating: StarStarStarStar_grayStar_gray By: Emma Sturgis, Alum Posted: November 19, 2014
The Good:

Very laid back community--made some great friends who were at the same place in life. Good for anyone who has to commute to school and isn't looking for an intense college culture.

The Bad:

Could use more course offerings.

The Good:

The Bad:

The college is known for wild parties, bing drinking, more drugs than any us college campus, sex than for a good education. Just take a drive thru their campus on game nights as I did to confirm...

The Bad:

The college is not so sportsy...by this I do not mean that sports amenities are lacking, there are plenty, but what I mean is there are not much sportsy people.

Webb Institute Review

Rating: StarStarStarStarStar_gray By: sgoogs1780, Alum Posted: October 22, 2014

The Bad:

It's hard as hell. Don't go here if you aren't prepared to work your ass off. Students "work hard and play herd," so to speak, so you'll still have college fun (I had a blast) but this isn't the...

Bard College at Simons Rock Review

Rating: StarStarStarStar_grayStar_gray By: decisivelylost, Student Posted: October 20, 2014

The best thing about Simon's Rock is definitely the congenial and friendly academic environment. The professors are brilliant and always willing to help, and the small class sizes foster a feeling...

The Bad:

The worst part of the school is probably the combination of the tiny student body and the isolated feeling due to the tininess of the local town. However, this does help you get to know everyone...
