I really believe the academics and the faculty are the best thing about Berry College. The atmosphere here is so challenging, and it really requires you to put forward the maximum amount of effort. The professors really take an interest in their students as well, and do their best to ensure the students perform to the best of their ability. I feel challenged every day in my studies and I really have to devote time to preparing in order to do well, which is something I've never had to do before.
The aspect I dislike the most about Berry is the student body; because this is a private Christian-based though not exclusively Christian college, there are many close-minded and judgmental people here who are not accepting of views and opinions that differ from theirs.
Yes, Although the distance from my husband is hard, the academic excellence expected here will help me in the future. Bar none, I feel like I am getting the best History education here that I can, and the fact that the professors - due to small class sizes - have the ability to take a personal interest in their students is really very impressive.
