The students make BU what it is. Everyone on campus is driven, passionate and goal-oriented. Students challenge each other to think in new ways and broaden their views of the world. I have friends from all over the world who bring interesting perspectives to different issues and I enjoy having discussion with them.
It is easy to get lost in the crowd. With over 16,000 students, it's easy to fly under the radar. The one piece of advice I would give to any student entering college is to be proactive in many respects. If you take initiative to get involved and meet friends, you will be fine. Make sure to be open to meeting new people.
Yes, Boston University has become my home over the past 3 years and I'm looking forward to making even more memories during my senior year. I originally entered as a Political Science major and ended up switching majors, which is very easy to do at BU. I found a passion for communications and African cultures and a calling for my future career. I've met friends who I know I will be in touch with forever at this university and that is priceless. I would not have changed one thing.
