The people! Students, faculty, staff, etc. are all super friendly and approachable. You can run into almost anybody on campus and have an intellectually stimulating, funny, interesting, or friendly conversation. Everybody is really accepting and all people seem to really find their place here. I also really like Brandeis because I feel like it is a school with a mission....everybody here wants to save the world, whether that means creating world peace, ending factory farming, or standing up for minority rights.
The night life is absolutely lackluster to some people. You're not going to find super hot people on campus (and if you do, they probably won't sleep with you anywayyyy), crazy ragers, or wild orgies. That said, though, I really enjoy my weekends at Brandeis and I have had a lot of fun going to parties and meeting people here. And there is a pretty big population of students who smoke weed.
Yes, I feel like I have really grown as a person here: academically, socially, politically, and philosophically. I have made some amazing friends, done some wacky things I never imagined I would do, and I have learned a lot. I know that when I graduate this year, I'll get into a grad school I really like, and I have a pretty bright future....so yeah, it was worth the exuberant amount of money.

I wish I knew That there actually ARE sororities & fraternities...the university says there aren't any because Brandeis doesn't recognize them, but there is that nightlife off campus as well
