Review of California Baptist University

One of the best things about California Baptist University is the food. The school is known around the town for the amazing buffet style cafeteria. On Sunday's the cafeteria is packed because people all over town come in and experience our amazing brunch buffet. This includes fried chicken and mashed potatoes, salad bar, built-to-order omelets (with dozens of options to fill it up), a dessert bar with anything you could imagine, sushi and much more! What school can say they serve sushi on a regular basis? Our school definitely excels in pleasing the students' stomachs. This year California Baptist University opened up a restaurant style cafe for students that need to get their food to-go. Students who eat here can also enjoy their food while watching TV and enjoying the weather outside. Students can use their meal plans for this establishment as well as the cafeteria. CBU Lancers definitely know that they have it good with food and I could not imagine having it any better.

This school is definitely expensive and it is a major set back unfortunately. Many people will not be able to experience this school because it is out of their budget. Of course, this is expected for a Christian Private school, it is just really sad to see lots of prospective students become discouraged when applying. Luckily, the school offers many scholarships, you just have to be willing to look for them.

Yes, California Baptist University always has something going on. Students that live on campus will never be bored. That is one thing that I have grown to love more and more about this school. This school is not just a college, it is a community. It is always scary when you move away from home and you are afraid you will not have friends, however CBU makes sure that no one is left out and it was really nice to feel comfortable and so welcome at a new place.
