Clemson is a very student-friendly environment. Student life is very accommodating to focusing students on their academics as well as keeping a large variety of sports, clubs, and activities well in reach. The campus itself is beautiful and you can always find students enjoying themselves.
Clemson University is located basically in the middle of nowhere. The town of Clemson, South Carolina consists of nothing but the school itself, with the exception of off-campus apartments and a few recent additions of fast food restaurants. If that isn't bad enough, the few things that are there are not open on the weekends.
Yes, Although going out to eat to a real restaurant or perhaps going to the movies requires driving 20 miles in any direction (Anderson being your best bet as far as variety of choices), the town of Clemson can be exciting and very enjoyable. Because the town is primarily the university itself, everything is very college student-friendly and geared towards giving students the best college experience. Also, Clemson is located on Lake Hartwell, which makes the spring, summer, and fall semesters very enjoyable. I spent a lot of days on the lake after class.

The financial aid process was a hassle, but I eventually received the aid I needed.
Professors are generally Engaging
The night life is Off Campus
Every student at this school needs A means of transportation. A scooter would be ideal. On-campus I would suggest a bike/scooter. For off-campus students, if you can avoid parking, do.
Most students spend their Saturday nights There is always a party somewhere. Downtown is an ok place to go, but I spent most Friday and Saturday nights at off-campus parties. Just be aware that very little is open on the weekends.

Study Hard? Pray? Donate Money? I had no difficulty whatsoever getting into Clemson. I was an average highschool student with a low B gpa, and almost no extracurriculars.
I wish I knew The fact that the town is boring.
