My review

The Good:

I would say that the wide diversity of people is the best thing about this school. You are able to learn about so many different cultures and lifestyles here that many places lack. There is a large amount of foreign students who give their perspectives and learn from you about your thoughts in the process. Everyone learns from each other. The small population and close community also factor in excellent time to learn about the world abroad.

The Bad:

The worst thing would be the cost of attending. It is upwords of $45,000 a year in order to attend. I had trouble in my first year when my family ran out of money, and there was little the college could do for me. COA is however working on my financial aid in order for me to attend the next year. It is expensive and they know that. They want students who care for the school to be able to attend, and will do anything possible in order for that to happen.

Would I do it again?

Yes, The one major in Human Ecology is a bit frightening at first, but it opens you up to a wide variety of studies. It is possible to take any of the classes no matter what your path is. If you are interested in a class, you just enroll in it. There is no strict curriculum, so you can take art classes along with science classes, and humanities in between. It is an odd, but very beneficial system that I wouldn't give up for anything.

About this school

Biggest influence when choosing this school Program/Major

The financial aid process is still ongoing and I am currently dealing with it.

Professors are generally Accessible

The night life is Off Campus

Every student at this school needs A reality check. It sometimes feels like everyone is in a daze and they think the world is perfect and everything is going to be alright. That however is not the case, and people should realize that life is not pretty.

Most students spend their Saturday nights It depends. The campus seems pretty split in terms of people who party and people who have fun studying, or hanging out with close friends.

About the reviewer

Went to Pinkerton Academy

Currently a Freshman

Favorite activity is The dance parties! Some of them are lame, but that doesn't stop me from dancing all night!

Another awesome thing is The intellect and creativity of the students is beyond anything I have ever experienced.

Study Hard? Pray? Donate Money? The college looks for strong leaders that keep their grades up. Try to do some volunteering or have work experience.

I wish I knew That the financial cost is high and that money is an issue.
