From what I know (I only have experience with my department) all of the major programs are really great. Most of the faculty are working professionals who can answer all of your questions, there is a big emphasis on building your portfolio, getting your work seen, and being prepared to pursue a career once you graduate, whatever you're studying.
Since it's primarily an art school, the artist attitude of being disorganized or lazy means some of the students are slackers and the professors expect it. If you are willing to put the effort in though, you will be rewarded and have a great experience.
