My review

The Good:

Great for networking. Columbia is for a student who knows what they want to do and can work on their own to get ahead.

The Bad:

I know it is an art school, but I did harder math in 8th grade. There are also a lot of politics at play when it comes to students and school expenses. You're paying for the connections made and not the schooling you receive.

Would I do it again?

No, While I enjoyed meeting a lot of very interesting people and great professors, the school itself has become to consumed with the bottom line and does not give back to its students like other colleges and universities do.

About this school

Biggest influence when choosing this school Program/Major

The financial aid process was a hassle, but I eventually received the aid I needed.

Professors are generally Easy

The night life is Lame

Every student at this school needs A Macbook Pro.

Most students spend their Saturday nights drinking PBR in Wicker Park with other hipsters, or at work.

About the reviewer

Went to Barrington High School

Currently a Senior

Favorite class is Talk Radio

Another awesome thing is A lot more freedom than other schools and in the heart of Chicago's South Loop.

Study Hard? Pray? Donate Money? Just take the application seriously when you apply. Columbia takes nearly everyone.

I wish I knew I wish I knew all the politics and in-fighting between departments and the school.
