Review of Loyola University New Orleans

The best thing about Loyola University is the academics. The rigor and intensity of the curriculum will intimidate some students, but because the faculty and staff are so understanding the tasks assigned are less strenuous. The class sizes are also a bonus. My largest class consists of 22 students. This is convenient because there is a more intimate relationship with the professor. I don't feel like just another number; i feel like i have name.

The worst thing about Loyola is the dorms. There are only four dorms on campus. Three dorms are on campus and the other is off campus. The best dorm out of the 3 are Carrollton, so everyone fights to get in. Unfortunately, acceptance into dorms are determined by GPA. Most upperclassmen have a higher GPA so they get first dibs, which leaves the underclassmen in less suitable dorms. Buddig is the oldest of the dorms and causes many of its residents to become sick, but it is suitable for the needs of a student. All the students have their own opinions and preference about each dorm, so its really based on the person that lives in them. I live in Buddig and i hate it. Im always sick!

Yes, The worst part of Loyola, to me, is the dorms; however, i didn't pay $43,000 to come to Loyola to stress about the dorms. My education is what i'm most concerned about and they seem to be adequately supplying me with the knowledge that i was seeking, so if given the chance to rethink my decision, I would not do anything different.

The financial aid process went smoothly and I received the financial aid I needed.

The night life is Memorable

Every student at this school needs MONEY!!!!!!

Most students spend their Saturday nights Greek Parties, Clubs, Bars, Burbon Street, etc.
