A wide variety of cultural backgrounds and social groups, all under one unified group of artists. I learned so much from just talking to other students, and loved going to school here.
Because it is very affordable, it doesn't have the most highly polished foyer or the coolest looking classrooms. As an artist and being very visual, this would sometimes get me down, but I know the education is solid and the courses are challenging. Education is about pushing yourself and working hard, not hanging out in a cool, well decorated lounge.
Yes, My student loans are very manageable, and artists don't often make a lot of money to pay it all off. The school is very professional and inspiring. I loved going there and was worth every penny.
