Review of Old Dominion University

ODU is a fairly large school with a small school feel. Professors are very approachable and most class sizes are not too big. There are many opportunities for getting extra experience (e.g., internships, research projects, working with professors on research, advanced courses that are not required) which can help you prepare for graduate school or future careers. I had no problem getting into a Ph.D. program after graduating from ODU.

Some of the surrounding neighborhoods are not the greatest, which is typical for a city school. However, the Hampton Roads area is nice and there are LOTS of things to do.

Yes, I got everything I needed and more from my undergraduate education at ODU. I was well prepared for graduate school.
