My review

The Good:

The best thing about The University of Texas at Austin is the abundance of school pride and spirit present on campus. After every win, athletic or academic, the tower, which is at the center of campus and serves as the main building, is lit with burnt orange lights so that the entire campus knows that we have something else to be proud of.

The Bad:

The worst thing about UT is the fact that, because we are often successful in most things we do, anytime that we do falter (i.e. in football), it is blown out of proportion, and our pride has to be put to the test when dealing with those who don't attend UT. Our spirit, of course, is never broken though.

Would I do it again?

Yes, The friends, connections and memories that I have made here at UT are not comparable to anything I could have ever imagined upon entering college. I have met people like me and learned to accept and get to know people completely different from me. I believe that had I not chosen to get my education in "the live music capitol of the world" (Austin) on the diverse campus of The University of Texas at Austin, which not only promotes school pride but also academic excellence, I would not be as aware of what goals need to be set to attain the level of success expected of the students at UT, while still being able to maintain the healthy social life that every college student needs to make it through the stressful years.
