Review of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

Aside from being an excellent school academically, this school is full of fun people. I chose to join a sorority and met hundreds of people through this connections. Sure it seems superficial, but one does bond with the people that they eventually live under the same roof with. The bar scene is really what completes the night life. You meet people from all over campus: other sorority girls, fraternity guys, and independents. People disregard certain Greek stereotypes the longer you go to the school. U of I has a perfect mix of educated and party students.

You're usually in one of two scenes at the school, either involved in greek life or completely separate from it. There is a small percentage of people who choose not to be in a sorority/fraternity and still interact with them but, its slim to none. It's the nature of people, no hard feelings towards any of the groups. In the first year or two that you are there, those are the majority of the people you spend time with.

Yes, The people I met from being there have affected my life more than I ever imagined. They are incredibly smart individuals who are truly down to earth. The majority of girls and guys are always looking to have a great time wherever they are. As time goes on, you meet so many people who attend the school and find that you all have things in common.

Biggest influence when choosing this school Program/Major

The financial aid process did not matter as I did not apply for any aid.

Professors are generally Experts

The night life is Epic

Every student at this school needs Costumes

Most students spend their Saturday nights Bars drinking like there is no tomorrow

Favorite class is ATMS 100

Favorite professor is Mark Schrad

Favorite activity is Football Block/Tailgating

Another awesome thing is Extremely educated party animals.

Study Hard? Pray? Donate Money? Don't apply straight into the school that you want to get into.

I wish I knew Greek life is HUGE
