Review of University of the Ozarks

The best thing about this school is the family atmosphere and the help available. Dr. Niece and his wife make it a point to know every person's name on campus. Everyone on the campus cares and expects to create an ideal educational program on campus. The classes are not easy in anyway. All faculty members want you to do your best though. You can go to any professor on campus for help. In addition, there are also three different programs on campus that can assist students with classwork. For an additional fee, the JLC is specifically there for students with disabilities. However, there are two other programs ACE and SSS that do not require any extra fees. All three of these programs can provide you with tutoring, support, class note takers, and other additional help. No matter where you come from, you can find help at this campus.

Unfortunately, the school is located in a small town. Therefore, there is not much to do as far as off-campus activities. There is a theater and a bowling center, as well as an array of different restaurants. However, there are plenty of things to do within driving distance and club trips. I recently went on a trip with the OZARTS (Ozarks art club) to Eureka Springs, which is this artsy town. We climbed down in the cave located near there and went on the Gallery Walk. Other places are also nearby if your looking for a good time.

Yes, The professors here are the best. I have been to other schools where this was not so. The professors did not seem to care. I am specifically going for an educational degree. This school's program is one of the best. With the small size, it also allows for students to excel and have one-on-one attention.
