The best thing is it's online and you can work at your own pace.
There are many things I do not like about this school. The use of TaskStream and not being able to speak directly with the graders is the first. Apparently, some of the graders have doctorate degrees, yet I have noticed many typos and improper grammar in their grading comments to me. There is not enough guidance in the teaching program. In the beginnings of student teaching/PCE (pre-clinical experience), the tasks require you to teach lessons...with no guidance. If you are like me and get placed with a teacher from hell, you are at an even bigger loss. Another thing that I do not like about this school is the response time with mentors and course mentors. They say they want to do all they can for their students but when push comes to shove, at least with my experience, I feel the opposite. The amount of work is insurmountable and overburdensome. I have spoken with teachers about my requirements and their mouths hit the floor in astonishment. I have been physically sick from the stress of this program. Thankfully, this is my graduation year....supposedly....so I would never do this again or recommend it to anyone!!!!
No, See my comments above.
