The diversity of the York College is definitely the best thing. There are so many different types of people: city, country, New Yorkers, Virginians, Marylanders, etc. You really get to learn how to live and work with so many different people that will really help when going out into the real world.
The fact that you need a car to get everywhere is a little ridiculous, but finding friends with cars is really easy and makes going off campus a little more fun. I haven't had a car for 3 years and I have survived. I always have at least one friend willing to make a trip to the grocery store.
Yes, I would love to do it again because of the connections you can make and just how easy it is to find your place at York College. Also y0u can take classes in just about anything even if you are not in the major. I have taken choir classes here since I was sophomore and have loved every minute of it even though I am not a music major.
