Webb Institute Review

Rating: StarStarStarStarStar_gray By: sgoogs1780, Alum Posted: October 22, 2014
The Good:

Academically this school is the best. Professors don't do any independent research, which means they're only there to teach. The whole curriculum is super practical, and there's an extensive...

The Bad:

It's hard as hell. Don't go here if you aren't prepared to work your ass off. Students "work hard and play herd," so to speak, so you'll still have college fun (I had a blast) but this isn't the...

The Good:

The best thing about Simon's Rock is definitely the congenial and friendly academic environment. The professors are brilliant and always willing to help, and the small class sizes foster a feeling...

The Bad:

The worst part of the school is probably the combination of the tiny student body and the isolated feeling due to the tininess of the local town. However, this does help you get to know everyone...

University of the Cumberlands Review

Rating: StarStarStarStar_grayStar_gray By: bdugger4850, Student Posted: October 15, 2014
The Good:

The best things about the school are the small class sizes and the diversity.

The Bad:

There are many negatives, including the high cost to attend the college. In addition to the high cost, some of the buildings are outdated and there's not much to do in Williamsburg, even on campus.

The Good:

The best thing about this school would be the diversity, there is people from all over the world.

Occidental College Review

Rating: StarStarStar_grayStar_grayStar_gray By: Infrequentguest, Parent Posted: October 04, 2014
The Good:

As a parent I realize there are some objectively good things, but the indifference of the administration and faculty leaders to student needs is breathtaking.

The Bad:

I have had 3 children go through private liberal arts schools, and this one is far and away the worst in creating a culture of safety and inclusion. Read about the adminisatration's handking of the...

The College of Idaho Review

Rating: StarStarStarStar_grayStar_gray By: kirkkerr, Alum Posted: October 03, 2014
The Good:

The people at C of I are excellent. From the students to the faculty, to all of the campus staff, you truly will meet some lifelong friends and build lasting relationships

The Bad:

Caldwell Idaho is not the most exciting place in the world. Far from it. And, even though the financial assistance program is great, you can still rack up some hefty debt.
