Diverse student body, lots of good activities for students, BEAUTIFUL campus, and decent faculty who care about teaching. Bloomington is an awesome college town.
Tuition seems to creep higher every year.
The best thing about IU is the diverse community. There is so much to experience here in Bloomington, it's such a rich atmosphere filled with fun people and amazing opportunities!
The worst thing is probably the class size. The introductory courses are packed to the max, but once you get into more specific classes they start to narrow down.
Offers a lot of programs and has a good academic reputation.
There are extra fees for EVERYTHING! I even had an $80 "zero credit hour" experience fee.
I wish I knew How good the language departments were
Another awesome thing is The people & environment.
Every student at this school needs Rain boots - when it rains its pretty but there is always standing water for the rest of that day.
Every student at this school needs Season basketball tickets
Every student at this school needs Good transportation if not near campus or bus route
