The atmosphere at Alfred U is amazing. It's a community all itself. Everyone is extremely nice and we all know each other at least by passing each other on campus.
There isn't much to do outside of campus, especially in the winter.

The students and faculty are all very kind and helpfull. Professors are almost always available for help and to answer questions.
The campus is built on a hill, so there are a lot of stairs and hills to walk up and down to get anywhere on campus.
