American Career College-Los Angeles is a private for-profit institution of higher education founded in 1978. It focuses on providing career education to meet the needs of the health care industry. Its mission is to prepare students with the technical knowledge and abilities to pursue entry-level positions in their chosen fields. The career services department consists of full-time employment staff that assist students with career planning and advising, time management skills, preparing resumes, completing job applications, job leads, professional attire, interviewing abilities, following up on interviews, and networking. Employment assistance is consistently available to graduates of the college as long as they remain in the health care industry.
American Career College-Los Angeles campus occupies a three-story building with about 30,000 square feet. The building features 14 up to date classrooms and computer labs and 10 laboratories with advanced tools and equipment.
