The Aviator College of Aeronautic Science & Technology was founded by Michael Cohen in 1982. It began in Addison, Texas but moved to its current location of Fort Pierce, Florida in 1999. The college is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges. It has also been approved and licensed by the United States Department of Education (DOE), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), United States Veterans Association (VA), and the Florida Commission for Independent Education (CIE). The school is also a member of the Airplane Owners and Pilots Association, the Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges, the University Aviation Association, and the Florida Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers.
You will learn to fly while simultaneously earning a degree at the Aviator College of Aeronautic Science & Technology. The college offers an Aviation Associates of Science Degree along with all of the flight training you will need to begin a career in the aviation industry. The Aviation Associates of Science Degree consists of both general education courses and specialized flight training courses. In regard to your flight training, you may choose to be certified within the Professional Pilot Track or the Commercial Pilot Track.
