Being in the heart of New York City, but having a campus where you can get away from the hub bub of the city.

My best friend has always played the violin and she was always happy at Barnard College. She majored in music there and loved it. I have noticed she has many opportunities to play and join...
I didn't know Barnard College existed until my friend applied for admission. The school looked pricey to me for a place I hadn't heard of.

The small class sizes and personal attention many of the professors will give you if you reach out for it. Offices such as the counseling and disability centers can be helpful about everything.
Some of the students can be a little too superficial at times. Also, the school is not very environmentally sustainable/active.
