The only thing Bates College could do is lower the prices for a four year degree. It was very expensive. One should definitely check out scholarships and grants to offset the high tuition.

Bates has a great community feel with outstanding academics. The faculty is above exceptional. Most students study abroad. I don't know that I've ever met a Batesie that doesn't LOVE Bates!
I would have to say the location, though when you are there you never have to leave campus. They have it all!
