Located in Canton, Massachusetts, Bay State School of Technology was founded in 1982 and gained its license as a private vocational institution in the spring of 1983. It wasn’t until 1986 that this vocational college received its first accreditation by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges, which is still the accrediting agency for Bay State School of Technology.
In order to be admitted into the Bay State School of Technology, all students must hold a personal interview with the Admissions Department, read/write in English, capable of meeting the physical demands of a service technician as well as passing an entrance examination. Students interested in enrolling in the Program II and Program III areas of study must pass additional examinations. Lastly, prospective students must also hold a high school diploma or GED.
