Bob Jones University was founded in 1927 as a Christian liberal arts university in Greenville, South Carolina. The private school’s student body is an international mix of 3,400 students from all 50 states and 41 foreign countries.
Campus life centers around Christian activities. Students are encouraged to minister to others through teaching Sunday school, sports evangelism, jail and local churches. Bob Jones University also encourages its students to perform community service activities in Greenville. Students also can participate in summer mission programs around the globe.
