I love BU's proximity to Boston. I have taken the opportunity to see the Boston Ballet, Boston Symphony, the Museam of Fine Arts, and the Institute of Contemporary Art, among other events and...
BU is a very large school with a very diverse population and it's very easy to get lost in the crowd at first.
It's city location allows for amazing adventures, the ability to see many different cultures, and access to some of the best museums and history in the country.
Without a single big sports team the entire community is behind or unifying on-campus event, it is rare to feel real school spirit or become heavily involved in the non-academic community
The professors are all experts in their field and some have even written the text books or are famous in their field.
It is expensive. Although the campus and academics are good its a big dent in the wallet going here. Also, tuition continues to rise despite its current expensiveness.
Boston University works with local businesses to lead the fight against college sexual assault.
I wish I knew The lack of school spirit
Another awesome thing is Career opportunities. BU really emphasizes undergrads being able to get real life experience in the fields that they are going to be working in. Most professors also have other jobs in the fields that they are teaching (other than being a professor) which makes it really easy to network, get internships, and eventually jobs when the day comes.
