The Broken Arrow Beauty College-Tulsa, also called the Cosmetology Education Center, is a branch of The Broken Arrow Beauty College in Broken Arrow, Okla. The college uses the Pivot Point curriculum and is accredited by The National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences.

Programs at The Broken Arrow Beauty College-Tulsa include a course in cosmetology geared toward preparing students for careers in hairstyling, manicuring, providing facials and owning a salon. Full-time students complete 44 weeks of work, logging in 990 clock hours of practice in hair shampooing, cutting, styling, shaping, coloring, bleaching, restructuring, relaxing and perming. In addition, cosmetology students log in 330 hours learning theory, personality and shop management, as well as 180 hours on manicuring, pedicuring, facials, scalp treatments and lash and brow dyeing and arching. Part-time students complete the same coursework during evening classes over the course of 67 weeks. Total cost of tuition, supplies and fees for this course is $13,574.

The Broken Arrow Beauty College-Tulsa also offers a full-time course in esthetics designed to equip students for careers as estheticians, cosmetic technicians or as salon owners or managers. Students in the esthetics curriculum meet 18 weeks, logging in 600 hours learning sterilization, dermatology, facial techniques, hair removal, salon development and cosmetology laws. In addition, The Broken Arrow Beauty College-Tulsa offers a full-time instructors course to prepare students to take the State Board Licensing Examination and enable them to pursue a career in teaching cosmetology. The instructor course meets for 29 weeks and involves 1,000 hours of training in cosmetology curriculum, teaching skills, lesson planning, exam development and administration, law, school management, record keeping and practicum.
