I really liked the campus and the Atlanta area. All the students I interacted with were very friendly but in the end, I didnt go there because I decided it was too far away from home.
I didnt see anything really negative about it, except the dorm rooms were very small. Also, the class size was very large but that is to be expected with a big university.
The school offers academic degrees and programs through nine schools. They offer programs in arts and sciences, business, law, theology and the health professions as well as others.
The worst thing about it is that it has been noted to be a racist school. The students mostly come from very wealthy families and so the school is centered in the heart of golf courses and other...
The buildings were beautiful! Everyone on campus was so helpful and kind, I'd love to hire from here.
The student center was a bit of a mess, but not to bad. Be sure to double check your pre-recs!

It was a wonderful experience but the campus itself is larger than I felt comfortable with so I would suggest a campus visit to ensure it meets your expectations and comfort level.

The worst thing about Emory University is that it is a very hilly campus. High school students thinking of going here should apply early and take a tour of the campus, if you can.
My son had the choice of going to one of several private schools. he chose Emory for two reasons: First, it was simply outstanding academically. Second, in spite of it being one of the best...
It is expensive. Financial Aid falls short of the promises of its literature. Send letters to prospective students claiming it has lots of money for financial aid-it does, it just doesn't award it.
Emory has an awesome medical school and schools for the sciences. I would want a doctor who graduated from Emory!
Students thinking of going to Emory should think about their career goals and see if they are compatible with Emory's goals. I think this is especially important for students who are wishing to go...
