The best thing about going to Fordham was having classes with the Jesuits - their classes were without exception very interesting and thought-provoking.
I don't know if it's still true, but the only thing to do in the area without getting on a RamVan is go to bars - and not cool bars, nasty bars.

The food! The food is pretty awful & choices in the various locations are very limited. However there are good restaurants nearby, especially along Arthur Avenue (aka the Little Italy of the Bronx)!

Fordham was very welcoming when my son entered as a freshman. There were 2 days of orientation where the students got to learn about each other and the school, got to meet people right away so...
