Everyone is so welcoming and laid-back. The professors are very well-educated and work with students individually if necessary so they can succeed
There's no transportation nearby that leaves PA (i.e. I want to go home to MA for breaks, but it's really hard to find a train or bus that leaves from here to there)

It's close to some major cities, but not that close... If you're used to having a lot of options (theater, restaurants, arts), it can be a challenge.
