High Point University in High Point, North Carolina is a small private liberal arts college with outstanding programs and countless opportunities. With about 3,300 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled, The US News and World Report places HPU as the 6th most comprehensive school in the south.
High Point University was founded by a cooperative venture of the Methodist Protestant Church and the city of High Point in 1924. In its early years, the school ran with only three buildings, nine faculty members, and 122 students enrolled. Since its founding, High Point has its campus include 320 acres with 45 new academic, residential and student-life buildings, two new athletic stadiums and a field house.
