College History
High Point University in High Point, North Carolina is a small private liberal arts college with outstanding programs and countless opportunities. With about 3,300 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled, The US News and World Report places HPU as the 6th most comprehensive school in the south.
High Point University was founded by a cooperative venture of the Methodist Protestant Church and the city of High Point in 1924. In its early years, the school ran with only three buildings, nine faculty members, and 122 students enrolled. Since its founding, High Point has its campus include 320 acres with 45 new academic, residential and student-life buildings, two new athletic stadiums and a field house.

I've heard they have discontinued their night program. The campus is amazing but High Point the city is just ok.

Amazing, amazing facilities. I've had exposure to numerous campuses - ACC, Big 10, Big 12, all of the other Big South - and I currently go to grad school at a Big 10 school, and none I have visited...
The academics are average, and the costs are going through the roof at High Point.
