The student body is really diverse so you find yourself becoming friends with a lot of different people, and the strength of the programs, not just in the sciences, really comes through.
All of your needs are pretty much met within a few blocks of campus, so it takes an effort to make sure you get around and experience Baltimore
I really like the campus atmosphere - people all seem so nice, so smart, and so driven to succeed it's really comfortable for me.
I usually say that I like Hopkins despite its location. Baltimore has some nice areas, but on the whole I'm not a huge fan and it rains more than i'd like.
Great opportunity to do real research (for credit) at the medical school, NASA, or places in DC. Great physical sciences / engineering & bio/chem.
