Studio Space. You get to really become an independent person, speak appropriately about your work and others and you get to build a close relationship with teachers.
Since I commute from outside the city, it takes me a good 30 min on the train,( but the school does give a discount on T-passes.)
Possibly the only art school where you will encounter people from all walks of life: this is no incubator for trust fund babies. You are expected to take all of your courses seriously and to work...
Because it's budget comes from state funding, some years they get somewhat behind on technology and facilities.
I was well prepared for a teaching career after my many experiences in the Art Ed Dept. Boston is a great city too!
At the time that I went to Mass Art there was no student housing.
