The Merrimack College Warriors compete in 22 varsity sports for men and women. Merrimack’s NCAA Division I men's ice hockey team competes in the highly competitive Hockey East conference. The other 21 athletic teams compete in the NCAA Division II Northeast Ten Conference. This includes men's and women's soccer, lacrosse, track and field, and basketball. Men’s American football and baseball, women's field hockey, and rugby, men's and women's tennis, field hockey and volleyball, and cross country also compete at the NCAA Division II level.
