Founded in 1824, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) is the oldest technological university in the United State. RPI is dedicated to “the application of science to the common purposes of life.” Located in Troy, New York, Rensselaer is well known for its success in transitioning technology from the academic world to the real world.
