Shippensburg is a smaller state school which allows you to be closer with your student body and professors. It was great to be able to meet so many people and to be involved with campus...
There isnt much parking on campus, so I would recommend walking to campus if you live off campus. Not too much to do in town, but it is fun to hang out with your friends and be able to walk anywhere!
The class size was relatively small for being a State school. The professors and teachers were able to work one on one with students if necessary.
It was sometimes difficult to schedule classes due to availability and lack of professors.
Focused on academics; good variety of internships available; descent-sized school (not too big and not too small).
If you enjoy the big city, this school is not for you.
Beautiful, quiet, safe campus. Small enough that you can get to know a lot of people and recognize people wherever you go.
The surrounding areas. Not much to do off campus.
I found that our education department is excellent, and as an Elementary Education major, it this college is right for me.
There isn't a lot to do off campus. Shippensburg is a boring town, where the best thing to do is go to walmart.
