Although I only went there for two years before joining the Military, I enjoyed the social atmosphere the most. I'm really into athletic events and Oregon was phenomenal in every aspect of sports....
The best advice I can give, is to definately take a tour. The way everything is set up, you will not be disappointed. I do wish there were some smaller classes to get a little more personal...
There is something for everyone. Whether you are into academics, politics, sports, Greek life, outdoorsy stuff, there is a club or group for you.
It's not as academically or intellectually strong as I wanted it to be.
The best thing about this school is the relaxed atmosphere, great instructors and the beautiful campus. I would gladly attend this college again. I would definitely hire students from this college.
The two biggest drawbacks of this school are the distance to Portland, the constant rain and clouds. That being said, the poor weather enhances your desire to stay inside and study.
