I am in the Masters of Social Work program at the University of Vermont (UVM). The best thing about going to the University of Vermont is the location. Burlington is such a fun city--the bars all...
In my experience, the worst thing about going to University of Vermont is that the quality of education is not very good. There are a few exceptionally good teachers but they aren't the norm. In...
Vermont offers the best of culture and country. One can attend a concert, yet be on the ski slopes within a half an hour. For the students, it is lovely, as the vibrant downtown has a wonderful mix...
We are still working on diversity. There is also a push to consolidate sports which has resulted in the college closing down baseball and softball in spite of the fact that we produced major league...
It's impossible to choose only 1 best thing about UVM; from academics to student life, UVM is the place to be. The courses were absolutely amazing and contributed to both my intellectual and...

I wish I knew I wish I had known more about the programs that the University offers. I changed my major quite a few times and while this is pretty normal for a college student, I think I could have avoided one or two of the changes if I had researched more about what classes and programs the school has to offer. UVM's website is very easy to navigate and there are plenty of advisors to help with any questions or concerns!
Every student at this school needs a planner
Another awesome thing is The beauty of it
I wish I knew Total expense over 4 years
Another awesome thing is If you ski or snowboard, you are NOT alone! The ski and board club is the largest club on campus and they organize everything from buses to mountains, Christmas break trips and BBQs at the mountains. You have over 4 main mountains to choose from all offering great deals and, of course, Vermont skiing is incredible.
