I think the best thing about the college was the different majors and courses offered. I was particularly interested in their Women's and Gender Studies major. I'm considering taking courses there.
It seems a bit expensive for me and may be for other people in my situation. I also felt that the students there seemed a bit unwelcoming or cold to newcomers or visiting students.
I think that Wellesley fosters a really positive community. I made some of the best friends that I've ever had there, and would definitely go again.
The worst aspect of Wellesley is it's social environment. But it is what you make of it. You have to take more of an initiative to go out and have fun. If you do, you can have a really great time...
Wellesley is one of the nation's top most girls only schools. It rivals with Harvard, though they are brothers and sisters schools. The program is rigorous and so is it's admission rates. The...
Wellesley is located in Boston. Though it's close to the urban city, the weather is pretty Bad. The summers are hot and humid and the winters are long, cold and snowy.
The best thing about this college is the campus. They have great locations, and the people are really down to earth.
The worst thing would have to be teachers. They just dont seem to know to much about anything.
I had a really good experience here. I met some great people, and really got a good foundation for life.
I didnt like that the school didnt take sports to serious. I sometimes wish i went to a big school that really wanted to win.
the location is great
price is high
I have friends at Wellesley and toured there, and from my friends' experiences, it seems like an incredibly supportive place. That's one of the benefits of an older school, and especially an all...
Wellesley does have the reputation for being snobbish, and its location in a very wealthy, very boring suburb doesn't help. I found that it's not like that at all--students and staff alike are...
There are some great professors. The campus is really nice.
It's too costly. The community is not too inviting.
There are great academic programs here and I loved the beauty of the campus. I would hire people from here.
The people can be a little snobby. I found that most people in the community felt they were superior to you, and tried to ignore you. I would advise that you try and make friends as soon as...
The best thing is by far the people. The faculty really care about the students and become lifelong mentors and friends. Your classmates become extremely important people in your life who support...
If you're someone who wants a party school, you'll have to go off campus for that at Wellesley. There are parties on campus, they're just a little more low-key.
Reputation, academics, alumnae network, proximity to Boston, financial aid.
Stressful environment, full of rich kids, slightly isolated.
The academic environment. You are surrounded with people who are so passionate and hardworking that it inevitably rubs off on you.
The social life. It is definitely possible to have one it is just a lot more effort then at other school.
The party options are so diverse that you are able to go somewhere new with new people every night.
It sucks that in order to go out you have to pay to get on a Peter Pan bus and have to be lucid enough to be on schedule before you miss the last one back to campus.
